The Friends of Sywell Country Park charity raised approximately £38,000 to pay for improvements to the visitor facilitles and wildlife habitats. We collected thousands of wildflower seeds from our meadows and woodlands and plantsd them throughout the park. We plant•d 1.750 new trees in the park. We splrt and transplanted hundreds of snowdrops below tha dam. Replac•d the old water play equipment in the Filtsr Bed play area. We completed replaclng the rotten squirrel run in Brock Wood. We protected hundreds of coppice stools from rabbits and deer. We weeded and mulched over 5,000 young trees to help them grow. We constructed 200m of new habitat rows and repaired old ones. We completed our planned woodland ¢oppicing and thinning. We increased the size of all our log pile hibernacula. We instslled 2 extra4arge picnic tables for large groups. Wè repainted th8 butterfly b•nch in the buttertly garden. We improved the "Big Lear, education area. o We started construcllon of a new wildflower 0￿hard. We obtained funding toward3 a new play trail in Brock Wood.
