In the last 12 months, significant contributions have continued to be made by Graham Edmondson and Jude Edmondson. These contributions have not been financial, but rather time and expertise. Graham has spent (and continues to spend) significant amounts of time working on the extension and refurbishment of the Hut. Jude has spent a great deal of time applying for and following up to grants and donations to fund the refurbishment of the hut. |
| Other | The main fundraising event for the Hut is our annual village bonfire and fireworks event on ‘Guy Fawkes Night’ this event is made possible by the efforts of the committee, trustees and the village Scouting and Guiding groups. |
Achievements and Performance

Fundraising is the principal source of funds. We hold an annual bonfire and fireworks event which raises money, and well as a monthly ‘100 Club’ draw. In support of extending and refurbishing the building, we have received generous donations from various individuals in our village. |

• Increase in outgoings. Costs and expenditure is closely controlled. Energy costs are an ongoing concern, but the refurbishment of the hut has significantly improved the energy efficiency of the building. • Decrease in income. Opportunity to request financial contributions from the village Scouting and Guiding groups with are both financially sound. |
