Since our registration on the 21[st] September 2022, most of our first year was concerned with various set-up issues e.g. Website – Donation systems and protocols
- Policy research and Charity Law familiarisation etc.
However, we were able to support the Mukuru Outreach Academy in the purchase of a microphone and PA system – a building project to improve their toilet facilities and the replacement of a classroom floor – and the purchase of a small plot of land to allow for the construction of two extra rooms.
We were also able to send emergency financial support to a single parent family whose children had been withdrawn from school due to severe financial hardship (resulting from temporary physical disablement and illness). Our support enabled the mother to return to work and the children to return to their schooling.
