(c) Purposes: Devuli Helpers Trust UK
exists to promote social inclusion for the
public benefit by preventing people from
becoming socially excluded and assisting
them to integrate into society.
Excluded for the following reasons
1. Unemployment

4. Old age

6.Mental Health
7. Physical health

8. Substance and or alcohol misuse or
abuse
9. Race
10. Disability
11. Sexual orientation
12. Religious discrimination

17. Poor educational or skills attainment
2.The Charity did not make an income
during this reporting year.
3. Devuli Helpers Trust UK abides by very
strict rules of transparency and
accountability as documented in our
Constitution.
4. We participate in various activities
which are aligned with our charitable
purposes. We engage in the following

activities
(a) Mental health awareness campaign,
we do our awareness on zoom with
Professionals , benefiaries and other
stakeholders or partners. This pro.otes
social inclusion and it builds trust with our
benefiaries who will open up more.
(b) Hospital visits, we identify patients in
collaboration with hospital staff who do
not have relatives or any friends and we
talk to them. This fulfills social exclusion
according to out purposes.
(c) Visiting targeted communal places
such as food banks, the and the Job
Centre to speak to clients and advise if
need be particularly on employment
empowerment.
5. Hospital visits are one of the most
important events that touch the emotion ,
physical and psychological wellbeing of
the beneficiaries in a positive way.

6. The challenges that we face is that we
do not have a Trust vehicle and we use our
own cars and we use out of pocket
expenses on fuel and food. We are
applying from different sources for funding
our activities.
7. Chairman- Jaspan Mudekunye who
oversees the daily running of the
Organisation, approves in activities to be
done, sourcing for work spaces, applies for
funding, organises meetings and events
including hosting most zoom meetings.
Secretary- Cathrine Nhatiso- Responsible
for writing reports, activities and keeps the
register of the beneficiaries, partners and
other stakeholders. She also leads the
drama, netball and amateur choir team.
Treasure- Terence Maison. He is
responsible in the opening of bank
accounts. Documents income and
expenditure. Provides organisations with

the balance sheet and bank statements.
He is responsible for hospital visits and
befriending services.
Fagesi Mudekunye is a committee
member and replaces everyone during
their absence. She leads sports and
employment empowerment. Participates
in all types of visits.
8. We are very functional as trustees and
we have supportive volunteers who come
but not very consistent. We need to keep
appealing for volunteers to join us.
FINANCIAL POSITION
1. Devuli Helpers Trust UK did not get
funding during this reporting period. We
have been sustained by out of pocket
expenses.
2. All the Trustees of the Organisation are
employed and we have mutually agreed
that we use our own resources to archive
our charitable goals.

3. Devuli Helpers Trust UK does not have
funds in the bank account, it does not have
assets nor liabilities.
FUTURE PLAN
1. We are planning to continue applying for
funding and identifying more beneficiaries.
2. All the activities we have done in the
past years will continue.
We may do some fundraising activities in
the following year as may be permitted by
Council and allowed by the law.
3. We need to identify an income
generating project such as import and
export of goods to raise money for the
charity to be able to self sustain in the long
term.
