Trustees' Annual Report for the Year Ended 30 June 2023
1. Introduction
Kingdom Bride International Charity (KBI) is a charitable organization dedicated to preventing and alleviate poverty, provide for the less privilege, shelter for the homeless, empowering women and people with training, training to set-up businesses and support in education. This report covers our activities, achievements, and financial performance for the year ending 30 June 2023
2. Structure, Governance, and Management
2.1 Legal Status
Kingdom Bride International Charity is registered with Charity Commission for England and Wales with Charity number: 1200367.
2.2 Trustees
The Board of Trustees is responsible for the overall governance and strategic direction of the charity. During the year, the following individuals served as trustees:

2.3 Governance
The trustees meet quarterly to review the charity's performance, set strategic priorities, and ensure that the charity adheres to its legal and ethical obligations.

Day-to-day operations of the charity are managed by the charity management team under the supervision of the trustees.
3. Objectives and Activities
3.1 Objectives
The primary objectives of KBI are to provide support, education, resources to underprivileged communities.
3.2 Activities
During the year, KBI undertook the following key activities to achieve its objectives:

Paying hospital and prescription bills allowing people to be provided the healthcare required.

Providing families in poverty with clothing and food packages. We provided support packages which include food essentials, clothing, and educational supplies to over 20 families.

Providing less privileged children with scholarships for school fees to get them into education.
4. Achievements and Performance
4.1 Key Achievements
KBIC made significant progress toward its mission over the past year, including:

Families impacted by poverty have been provided with essentials required to maintain good health, including food, clean water and clothing. This has improved standard of living within the community as opportunities for earning an income have been improved through education and adult training.

We have managed to obtain significant funding from the National Lottery to support making progress towards our mission.

We have onboarded volunteers to support in providing help and support with our Charity.
4.2 Challenges
The charity faced the following challenges during the year:
- We struggled with funding in the first year and much of the work was supported by personal funds made available from Trustees. This has been addressed by fund raising events and external grants provided.

The trustees have established a reserves policy to ensure the financial stability of the charity.

The charity's income was derived from the following sources:
- Trustee’s personal funding which will change for the following year with the funding received.
6. Plans for the Future
The trustees have identified the following priorities for the coming year:

These initiatives are designed to further our mission and expand the impact of our work.
7. Public Benefit Statement
The trustees confirm that they have complied with their duty to have regard to the guidance on public benefit published by the Charity Commission when exercising any powers or duties to which the guidance is relevant.

The trustees are responsible for ensuring that the charity maintains proper accounting records and for preparing financial statements that give a true and fair view of the charity's financial activities.
