Governance and Management
TKCBA Committee is appointed by the board members and responsible community members
who are on the board. Members are appointed by election on to the board at the AGM. The
8roup is managed overall bythe Projetts Managerand theAssistant Projects Manager. Duties
are delegated by the Assistant Projett Coordinator.
The constitution is adhered to by all members which is considered and reviewed as
appropriate at the AGM.
Aims and objectives
l. To promote equal opportunities locally. by working toward5 increased involvement and
access to a wider range of facilities, by facilitating engagement activities to increase
community cohesion amongst the local community.
2. To foster the creation of positive role models and empowerment of young people through
the concept of 'achievement through boxing and excellence, in educational and health
awareness activities.
3. To work and network with other relevant agencies, organi5ations, schools, academic
institutes and community groups to raise aspirations and promote education.
4. To provide facilities for the betterment of public health in the young and old.
5. To encourage diversity by bringing together people from different cultures, reli8lOUS
backgrounds and beliefs in order to encourage their participation and integration into a wide
range of activities and health related activities
6. To eradicate racism and counter prejudices in the community and the work environment
through team participation in sport and encouraging fair play. To promote good race relations
through community integration, social cohesion and by endeavouring to eliminate
discrimination on grounds of race, religion. culture gender, disability and sexual orientation
or other factors that cause differences between people.
7. To foster the creation of positive role models and empowerment of young people through
the concept of 'achievement through excellence. and through educational and health
awareness activities.

Summary of the main achievements during the period
This year there have been a number of achievements despite some financial constraints we
have made a success out of our projects.
11 TKCBA has delivered various projects within the health & wellbeing disciplines across
Bradford in schools and community centres
21 Over 900 service users have come into contact with TKCBA.
31 We are hoping to secure further funding and contracts with statutory organisations such
as schools to make us more self-sufficient and less reliant on grants.
As a result ofthe positive work and good publicity we have taken on new volunteers and
become Bradford Council Education Covenant Champions. We are making a good name for
TKCBA and becoming more recognised for the health and boxing work as well as community
cohesion and community engagement work.

No matter has come to our attention:

proper accounting records and to prepare accounts which accord with the accounting records have

Tasif Khan Community Boxing Academy {TKCBAI is not currenily operating to a financial capacily
whereby external SCTuliny could be obligated. As such it is under no statulorv obligation to prepare
accounts in any prescribed fortnai or 10 undergo an}. kind of external scrutiny. However. the
management committee, as a matter of good practice require the accounts to be subject to a fonn of
external inspection bv an independenl communit), organisation. Thus these accounts have been
prepared in accordance wilh the books. records, information and explanations by Tasif Khan
Community Boxing Academy. The procedures undertaken do nol provide all the evidence thal w'ould
be required in an audit. However we hai-e satisfied the assessors of ihis report that in their opinion
these accounts and report represeni a "true and fair ￿'le￿, and are lirnited to those matters set oul in the
statement below.
Special or other Circumstances to be noted:
These accounts are for the accounting period for Tasif Khan Community Boxing Academy ITKCBAI
between April 2022 and March 2023 for which funds were allocated to TKCBA by various funders.
The accounts were ratified by an independent organization {AMHGI prior to being submitted as
completed accounts for the above said period.
