The Church has advanced the Christian faith, including its positive, beneficial moral and spiritual framework by raising awareness and understanding of the Christian faith through weekly Sunday morning and evening worship and teaching church services and mid-week Bible Study / prayer meetings as well as a number of activities arranged for the advancement of the Christian faith to different groups of people. None of these activities has been restricted to church members but each has been open to the public in general (within targeted age ranges in certain cases), especially the local community. Activities have included: • Sunday School for children aged 3-11; • “Buzz” children’s club for primary school children; • “Family Trail” for primary school children and their families; • Christians Against Poverty money management course. |

Para 1.20 | • Sunday Meetings. The church continued to meet on Sundays, either at a school or the Town Hall, with a view to advancing the Christian faith to a wider community. • Sunday School. Ran 40-minute classes for children aged 3-11 on a weekly basis throughout the year, teaching simple Bible stories to c 10 children in total each week. • Small Groups. We held weekly Bible Study / prayer meetings in 4 locations contemporaneously reaching 25-40 people. • Church Services. We held Sunday morning worship and teaching services each week, reaching 30 families. • Buzz. We held 6 children’s clubs for families with activities for the children and a Christian talk. • Family Trail. We organised a family treasure hunt at Easter and Christmas followed by other children’s activities and a short Christin talk. • Christians Against Poverty money management course. We delivered this course twice during the year supporting about 10 individuals. • Outreach events. We organised 3 events (e.g. quiz night) which included a short Christian talk attended by between 30 and 50 guests. • X-plorers. This club, jointly run with another church, for children in school years 5-7 met on Thursdays during |
school term times and reached 8-12 young people. • Friday Night YP . Together with another church we ran 2-hour meetings throughout the school term times reaching 15-20 11-18 year olds.
