For practical purposes the charity has only been operating for about 12 months and much of this time has been occupied in establishing the practicalities, for example, setting up the bank account and the structures within which the charity will operate. We have however organised two fund-raising events which were very successful and overall the trustees are well satisfied with the monies that have been raised from these events and generous donations from, mainly, private individuals.
Our main objective at this stage is to build up funds so we may provide worthwhile financial help for the church building and grave yards, which are the sole objects of this charity.
