Objectives and activities
Purpose of the charity:
Team 1C was founded and is run by parents of children born with Heart Conditions, initially it was a volunteer fundraising group but after 5 years of fundraising it became clear that there was a distinct lack of support for cardiac families.
The purpose of the charity is to provide the relief of sickness, suffering and distress of those persons (in particular children and young people) suffering from cardiac conditions by provision of essential equipment for the care of cardiac patients to hospitals and other medical centres throughout the Liverpool city region and the surrounding areas. The provision of support services to those effected by the above conditions, including those suffering from the conditions, their carers and friends.
Activities:
Unfortunately this has been a difficult year for the charity. Support, Interest and commitment has dwindled significantly and it’s become impossible to sustain the charity.
We still managed to support
-
Liverpool Women’s Hospital
-
Emergency grants to families in hospital
-
Hot food delivered to parents in critical care , weekly
-
Alder Hey Cardiac info day
-
Support to Love the One Charity

We have made the decision to dissolve the charity, and final accounts are being prepared . Any remaining fund will be transferred to a charity that is similar , most likely to be the Children’s Heart Association, North West.
