I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above
charity ('the Trust.) for the year ended .
Responsibilities and As the charity trustees of the Trust, you are responsible for the preparation
basis of report of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act
2011 1.the Act.).
I report in respect of my examination of the Trust's accounts carried out
under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I
have followed the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission
under section 145(51{b) of the Act.

Ob"ectives and activities:
To promote the educotion ond development of childrenfrom two years old to school age in the
medium of Welsh. The chority has providedplGy Opportunities, childcore and guided leorning in line
with the Notional Curriculumfor Woles. The trustees ore aware of the Chority Commission s g(Jffdonce
on public benefit ond have tokert this into account when moking relevont decisions.
Achievements and erformance:
During the yeor ended 31/08/2023 Cylch Chwurae Pontarddulois provided childcare, learning ond
guided play opportunitiesfor children. Using the langut7ge immersion method Cylch Chworoe started
them on their bilinguol journey ond helped them become confident Welsh speakers.
Activities and leorning througho(Jt the year included colour5, fine motorskill development, Christmas
themed disploy ond ort projects os well as leorning around noture ond environment. The children
mode Sontes Dwynwen birdfeeders ond this was linked to leorning around noture. envimnment ond
birds.
Staff concentroted on where eoch child sits developmentally und planned leL7rning accordingly. Two
stoff members have previously achieved o BA course in Eorly Yeors Education. All stoff members
ottended regulor troining onfood hygffene, safeguGrding ondfirst old and there wos ofvcus on
security und safety policies to moximNse sofeguarding ond mlnimising risk.
A stuff member completed tn7ining with bike Gbility and we were gifted bulance bikes which we then
used to complete a sponsored bike ride with the children to roisefunds. We olso investigoted bike und
rood sofety, gross motorskills, obstacle courses ondsharing and toking turns.
Financial review:
Funds at the end of the period to 31/08/2023 were £ll,<149 and policy is to hold reserves to cover
unGnticipoted expenditure und/or reductions in income. The accounts are prepored on o receipts
