## **The Milverton & District Archive** (Registered Charity no 1200287) 

## **Annual Report of the Trustees 2024-25** 

Following removal of much of the archive to a temporary location early this year, an audit has been started which aims to locate and validate items held; update the database in order to improve consistency and searchability of our records; and identify any items which fall outside the scope of the MDA’s registered purpose. 

Policies and procedures have been formalised, and communications established, with a new logo and social media presence; a new web page is also ready to be launched. The Archive has been able to provide information to several individuals in response to enquiries about people, places and events of interest to them in the Milverton area. Several trustees have moved onto other interests. Our thanks to Maggie Dinning in particular for her work with the archive over a number of years.
