## **Annual Report of the Trustees 2023-24** 

During the past year, funds have been raised through direct donations from both individual residents and organisations based in the village, and also through sale of donated items. Together with funds transferred from the organisation which previously held the Archive, this has generated sufficient income to fund rental of space within the village which has provided a venue to co-locate some of the archive contents, hold several open days to exhibit a range of items, and to begin the task of sorting and verifying the archive holdings. Sadly, efforts to obtain grant funding to retain this space have been unsuccessful, leaving us currently seeking alternative accommodation for the longer term. 

We have also instituted a membership scheme and recruited volunteers to assist with the inventory review and with strategic planning for the Archive.
