Objects The object of FoodBanked is the prevention or relief of poverty within east London and surrounding Essex areas. primarily through the provision of food, clothes, hygiene, household products and services to people in poverty andlor charities, or other organisations working to prevent or relieve poverty Alms and Objectives The aims and objectives of the charity are to provide essential food, clothes. hygiene and household products to people in need within east London and surrounding Essex areas Trusteeship The current trustees are Mohammed Ashraf Hussain, Faruk Kanamia and Rajia Hussain, they have all been with the organization for a significant period of time and are reappointed annually at the Annual General Meetin& Organlsational Structure The charity trustees are responsible for the general control and management of the charity. The trustees give theirtime freely and receive no remuneration or other financial benefits Rlsk Management The trustees have assessed the risks the charity faces and have identified the major risks by area of activity and the nature of those risks. The trustees review risk regularly and strengthen thelr perspertive on this issue through meetings. The trustee5 are Satisfied that systems are In place, or arrdngements are in hand to monage the risks which have been Identified Use of volunteers Volunteers are involved in all of our Artivities and meet regularly at team meetings. We make the necessary checks to ensure volunteers carry the appropriate traits for the organization and understand the objectives Publlc Benefft In planning our activities we keep in mind the Charity Commission's guidance on public benefit. The focus of our activities remains our projects which help marginalised communities across east London and surrounding Essex areas. Our projects benefit people through boosting their confidence and dignity.
Financlal Review Future plans FoodBanked received donations totalling £3.100 at the end of our ftnancial period in July 2024.
