A message from our CEO / Founders
As we reflect on the year ending 31 March 2025, we would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who has supported Harlee’s Angels. The continued kindness, generosity and dedication shown by our volunteers, supporters and community partners makes it possible for us to continue supporting families through the most difficult times.
Over the past year we have been able to provide counselling support for bereaved families and continue hosting our monthly Grief Café sessions, creating a safe space where parents and families can come together, share their experiences and find comfort in knowing they are not alone.
We have also been incredibly grateful for the many fundraising events and community initiatives that have taken place throughout the year. From personal challenges and local fundraisers to larger events such as our Great Gatsby Gala Ball, every effort helps us continue our mission.
Harlee’s Angels was created in memory of our daughter Harlee, with the aim of ensuring that no family faces the sudden loss of a child alone. With your continued support, we remain committed to growing our work and reaching more families who need help, comfort and understanding.
Thank you for standing alongside us and helping keep Harlee’s Angels’ mission alive.

Activities and Achievements
Harlee’s Angels continues to provide support to families across the UK who have experienced the sudden loss of a child. During the year ending 31 March 2025 the charity continued its core mission of ensuring that no family feels alone following the unexpected death of a child.
During the year the charity funded counselling support for bereaved families and was able to assist approximately six families with financial grants to access specialist bereavement counselling and support services.
The charity also continued to host monthly Grief Café sessions, providing a safe and supportive environment where bereaved parents and families can meet, share experiences and support one another. In addition to providing direct support, Harlee’s Angels undertook a number of fundraising and awareness activities throughout the year. These included participation in events such as the Dorset Plane Pull and the ABP Southampton Marathon. The charity was also invited to AFC Totton to raise awareness of the charity’s work and collect donations with the support of the charity’s mascot, Harbo.
Harlee’s Angels was honoured to be selected as a beneficiary of the Netley Marsh Steam and Craft Show and received a donation of £500. The charity also hosted a successful Great Gatsby Gala Ball at The Grand Hotel in Southampton, raising funds to support its ongoing services.
The charity attended a number of community events including the Oasis Academy Mayfield Christmas Fayre, the St James Park Summer Festival in Shirley, the Babies’ Necessities event and local fundraising events organised by schools and community groups. Valentine Primary School and Hamble FC both hosted fundraising events in support of the charity.
During the festive period, the charity also delivered Christmas parcels to the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) to support families spending the festive season in hospital.
Harlee’s Angels continues to benefit from the support of individuals who undertake fundraising challenges on behalf of the charity. During the year supporters raised funds through activities including the Great South Run, the Amsterdam Marathon, a 10k charity swim in the Lake District, the 5k Inflatable Run, pop-up charity shops and other individual fundraising initiatives.
The Trustees are extremely grateful to all volunteers, supporters and community partners whose generosity enables Harlee’s Angels to continue providing vital support to bereaved families.
