## **The Impact**

## **What is Harlee's Angels**

Harlee’s Angels is a charity which has been set up to offer assistance to the parents/guardians of a child up to the age of 17 who has died due to sudden death, accident or unexpected / undiagnosed illness residing in the Southampton and surrounding Hampshire area.

## **How and who can we help**

We can provide financial assistance to families who are on a low income *

- We can help with providing financial assistance with

- household bills and groceries, when the main earner is unable to work.

   - We can assist with funding private counselling.

Harlee's Angels works tirelessly behind the scenes to support families in need. While we may not always be able to share all the details of our efforts, we want to emphasize that every fundraising event, donation, and act of support from our community makes a significant impact. Your help enables us to provide financial assistance to families, allowing them to take time off work, relieve financial burdens, and create opportunities for quality time together. Your generosity truly makes a difference in the lives of those we serve.

We are grateful for the support from the national lottery community fund, as it has allowed us to continue offering our monthly grief Cafe sessions, providing counseling services, and distributing food and toiletries packages to families in the PICU. In addition, we have been able to organize day trips for our families to provide them with some much-needed respite and create special moments together. Thank you for helping us make a difference in the lives of those who need it most.

This year we have also been selected by Doorstep Donation, a company that provides monetary donations in exchange for recycling pre-loved clothes. The funds we receive from Doorstep Donation help us tremendously in our mission to support families in need. This innovative approach not only helps the environment by promoting the recycling of clothes but also provides essential financial support for our organization. We are grateful for the generosity of those who donate through Doorstep Donation and the positive impact it has on the families that we serve.

Phat Chip, thank you for reaching out to us and inquiring about hosting one of our charity donation pots in your shop. Your willingness to support our cause not only helps us generate more donations, but also raises awareness about our charity among your customers. We are truly grateful for your support and partnership in making a difference in the community.
