OBJECTIVES AND ACTIVITIES Objeetlves and #ims The PTiD¢5pal objective of the Church is to advance the Christiatt faith in accordance with the s¢awn¢nt of faith of The Fellowship of IDderkDdent Evangelical Churches. These meetings includ¢ 5ui(able supervised activitie$ as well as relevant teaching bd on the Bible. The Church atso hol(Ls a 4-d&y holiday club during the 5ummtt s¢hwl holiday. In addition to the normal services on a Sunday, the Church also holds a weekly prayer and Bible study, and a bi-weekly m¢etiTLg for the tired. The Pastor takes a monthly setvice in a retir¢men( home, and also visits a number of the local primory schools to lead Collective Worship. The Cburch visits a chur¢h in a nearby village to tsk¢ oc¢asional service5 and members are invited to tak¢ services in other churche5. Alton Foodbank is operated by Alton Christian Car¢ Ltd and some of the Tnjstees arc memrS of Butts Free Church. The Chur¢b cOtInueS to provide fJJwi¢ial support to a Charity that 5$ workit)8 in the Middle East with, in particular. disadvantaged children and since 2014 has been particularly Rctive in assisting those who sre rethgees from confli¢t 8tMI war. apd whi¢h work 15 recognised and supported by r&s¢ted intenN¢ional organisatiolls.
