TRUSTEES ANNUAL REPORT

The trustees present their report with the financial statements of the charity for the year ended 31 December 2024.

OBJECTIVES AND ACTIVITIES

The objects of the charity as set out in its constitution are:

For the public benefit to help fund research into finding cures for cancer throughout the world and to relieve the needs of people and their families who are living with and beyond cancer.

The charity achieves its objectives by awarding grants to UK and overseas cancer research organisations. In 2024 eight grants of varying amounts were awarded. Decisions on who to award grants to are based on assessment by the trustees following an application by an organisation. The information requested includes a brief history of the organisation, its work, main scientific achievements, funding and donors, financial and decision-making procedures, and the research objectives. Grants are made on an annual basis without multi-year commitments. Details of grant payments are in the Receipts and Payments account on page 6.
