|Summary ofthe main<br>achievements<br>ofthe charity<br>during the year|||CATS presented<br>two public performances<br>during the current financial<br>year: a family pantomime<br>"Beauty and The Beast" snd an adult<br>pantomime<br>"Sinders".||
||||'Beauty and The Beast' ran for six nights over the Christmas 2022 period||
||||at Bishop Rswle Primary School. Itwas directed<br>by James Walker and||
||||featured<br>many Members,<br>both adult and children as well as featuring||
||||dance routines<br>performed<br>by the Vivienne Shelley dance group. The||
||||pantomime<br>drew a combined<br>audience of494 and was the first time|that|
||||CATS had performed<br>over the Christmas<br>holidays.||
||||"Sinders" was a 'one night only' show staged at the Guild Hal and was||
||||directed<br>by Jason Greenwood.<br>This wss the CATS' first venture<br>into|the|
||||world ofAdult Pantomime,<br>and<br>it proved a huge hit with the audience|with|
||||a near capacity audience of circa 160squeezed<br>into the hall.||
||||In addition to the public performances<br>above, CATS also ran a 'Play|In A|
||||Day' workshop<br>during the August 2023 Summer<br>holidays. The workshop||
||||wss planned,<br>facilitated,<br>and expertly<br>ran by Charlie Brown. The||
||||workshop was open to young people and provided a space forthem|to|
||||unleash<br>their imagination<br>and create their own piece all by themselves.||
||||At the end ofthe day the youngsters<br>were able to showcase their piece||
||||back to their invited guests. The event was attended<br>by 10children<br>with||
||||all proceeds going towards<br>funding<br>for the performance<br>ofShakespeare's||
||||'Romeo 8 Juliet" which CATS hope to perform<br>in Summer 2024.||
||||CATS also attended<br>and supported<br>several community<br>events during|the|
||||financial year induding<br>a stall at the Party<br>In The Park event at the||
||||beginning<br>ofAugust 2023.||
