Jacob’s Academy Annual Report
Jacob’s Academy has continued to uphold its commitment to providing quality education and vocational training to the community. This year has been marked by significant achievements and developments that have furthered our mission to equip individuals with the skills needed for the modern workforce.
Key Highlights:
Volunteer Engagement: We have successfully integrated passionate volunteers into our team, enhancing our capacity to deliver exceptional educational services.
Curriculum Development: A comprehensive syllabus encompassing Information Technology, Mathematics, English, Science, and various vocational courses was meticulously crafted to meet the diverse needs of our students.
Online Education: Our adaptation to the digital era saw us conducting online classes five days a week, ensuring uninterrupted learning amidst challenging times.
Workshops: Utilising hired spaces, we conducted hands-on workshops in Carpentry, Plumbing, and Tiling, providing practical experience to pupils aged 12 - 24 years.
Research and Grants: Our team has diligently researched grants we are eligible for, laying the groundwork for future financial sustainability.

Educational Programmes:
Our educational programmes have been designed to cater to a wide array of interests and career paths. From foundational subjects like Mathematics and English to practical skills in Filming, Video Editing, and Music, we strive to offer courses that are both comprehensive and relevant.
Community Impact:
This summer, we proudly completed multiple trade workshops, which have been instrumental in guiding our pupils towards apprenticeships and higher education opportunities. Our involvement in community clean-up activities in Hackney has not only beautified the area but also fostered a sense of community and responsibility among our students.
Looking Ahead:
As we move forward, Jacob’s Academy remains dedicated to expanding our reach and impact. We are exploring new avenues for growth, including the application for research grants that align with our vision of educational excellence and community service.
