|<br> <br> <br>Summary of the main<br>achievements of the charity,<br>identifying the difference the<br>charity’s work has made to<br>the circumstances of its<br>beneficiaries and any wider<br>benefits to society as a<br>whole.|<br> <br> <br> <br> <br>Para 1.20|Through our support and partnership<br>working with the Daventry Community Food<br>larder we have been able to give the local<br>community access to cheaper and healthier<br>food with the aim of reducing food poverty.<br>We would judge this as a success based on<br>the growing numbers accessing this service<br>with over 600 members registered.<br>With the provision of the Youth Club in<br>partnership with Daventry Town Council and<br>Youth Inspired we support on average of<br>over 30 young people a week to gain access<br>to a safe space where they learn new skills<br>and grow in confidence. A separate holiday<br>club was run during school holidays to<br>ensure access to the service was<br>maintained and enrich young people’s<br>experiences.<br>Our seasonal events/shows we have<br>reduced social isolation and creating a better<br>community cohesion. The charity clearly<br>sees a need for such events/shows with an<br>average attendance of approx. 80 persons.<br>The charity also attends and hosts local<br>steering groups and other such meetings<br>with a view to better the community|
