The charity is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) association formed on 12 August 2022.

The trustees of the charity are appointed by the members at the AGM.

Objectives

To advance the education of the public in Cardiff and the surrounding areas in the Spanish language, culture and traditions by providing Spanish language classes and organising activities and events to educate the public in the culture and traditions of Spain and Spanish speaking countries.

The charity's activities

To advance the education of the public in Cardiff and surrounding areas in the Spanish language, culture and traditions. We have managed to do that by running a Spanish supplementary school every week for children up to 14 years old. We provide Spanish Language classes and organizing activities and events to educate the public in the culture and traditions of Spain and Spanish speaking countries.

In setting our objectives and planning our activities our Trustees have given serious consideration to the Charity Commission’s general guidance on public benefit and in particular the advancement of education.

Achievements and performance

We have managed to have over 50 children in our register Thanks to parents and volunteers, we have managed to organize events and open “coffee corner” at school.

No trustee received any expenses during this year or the previous year. No trustee received any remuneration or benefit during this or the previous year.

The charity’s free reserves at the end of year were £2,000.
