Our examlnation was carried out in ac¢ordan¢e wlth the general Dlrection5 8lveD by the Chailty Commlsslon. An
examination includes a review of the accounting records kept by the charlty and a ¢omparlson of the accounts
presented with those records. It also include5 consideraiion of any unusual item5 or di5c105ures In the accounts and

securlty. We have wélcomed 8 good numberotnewmembersftom the localcommunity in
Leeds Into our under 10 age group and 8bove. ensuring continue to ftll our club from the
bottom to ensure Its future st8blllty.

Our U128.U149 and U16s each flnlshed 1*1 place In thelr reSpect￿e leagues.
The U14s went on to become N8tlonal Ch8mplon8 88 w81188 winning the Sheffield tournament.
U18's were the North Ayre Tournament Ch8mplons.
As 8 result of our gro￿ng numbers w8 took on an extr8 tr8ining night to increase our sesslons to
4 nights a week. this has ensured we h8ve enough space tor all children to train effectively in
their own ability groups. we￿ seen several pLayefS move from a training only memborship to
becoming a fullteam memberand pLayingan active partin league gamesfortheir newteam.
Thisyearwe achieved ouraim of setting up our brand-new Girls U16sTeam. which attracted
new members from surrounding areas. It's been a fantastic first year for them anu their

development. Theygrew in confidence throughoutthe year and finlshed a very respectable
4° pl8C8 in the league.
W& were delightad as a club that we had a record number of children invited by the English Ice
Hockey Association to trial forTeam England in their respective age groups, this season. All
children represented the club well and we received positive praise for how our members had
conducted themselve8 throughoLrt trails elong with Impres8ingthe Coaches with th8ir ski118. AS
a result ofthe trials, *plcomed the amazing news that 18 ot our members were selected for
the Eng18nd Teams 8nd attended Intem8tion81 toum8m8nts In Europe and C8n8d8 for both
Boys and Giristeams from UJ2'8 upto U168.
We were also extremely proud that we also had 5 players sele¢ted to play ftjr Team Great Brit8ln
thls year wtth one of those 8ttending the Youth Olymplcs In South Kor68.
As a club w8 have come together as, players. parents, coache8, and committee members to
bulld somèthing sp8CI81 for th8 future of Ice Hockey In Leeds.

As of the ye8r end. 31•1 of July 2024 the ch8rity held £33.672.75 at The Metro bank. £10.145 In
the Vlrgin Monay Savlngs Account and had £2806 cash In h8nd. A8 of last year the biggest cost
to th8 Chartty was the hlre of Ice (from the rink owner Hanet Ice) for r(s training actlvlties and
g8me fixtures. whlch totalled £118.183.00 lorthe y88r. Sadly. we Incurred 8 rise of £44 per hour,
for hir8 of the ice rlnk. from the prevlous year and the club expects further prlca Increa8e8
throu8houtthe y68rs. The charltyfecelved 8 total ot£130,114.OOfrom membership
subscrlptlons in thè ￿ar. Furtherlunds whlch contrlbuted to the chadtys Income were
received from, Gfft Aid, sponsorshlp, end fundr8i$lng, alongwith proceeds from org8nised
events hosted at tho club such 88 Tournaments and Hockey Camps and g8m9 day fundraisin8
efforts.

As our numbers have grown partlcuiariy at theyounger end ofthe club we wlll entertwo U12s
teams to ensure each player 8t that age group can take an 8CtiV6 Part in 188guo games.
The charlty elms to keep membership charges 88 low 88 possible and in ilne wlth other hockey
clubs vthiist 8180 recognisingthe cost of the ice hire increasing considerably.

We will continu8 to invest in training equipmentfor on and off tha ic8 to help improve indNidual
and team perfom)8nce along with tralningfor our Coaches.
The charity will form a senior team in the NIHL1 league. promotingtho player pathway to Senior
Hockey which will be run with support from the 8XiStin8 Men's tsam- The Leeds Knights 8
separatg company to the charity.
