membership of appro¥imaiely 120 childien and ieenagers who have enihu51aS(Ically iolned
our club. Among Ihem are fhildfen from the local communilv. new to ihe Ice h￿kQY and
seiimlessly iran511ioning from ihe Learn to Play Sessions tacilitaied by the rink. Morpovvr.
we've conlinued lo atiracl adepi players Irom furihei afield addin8 a layer ol skill dlver51ty
to our growing communbly.
This yeai ha5 been a triiimph for teams across all age gioups. Beyond the Siiilsslical
successes. there's been a palpable sense of camafadeTie as ieams bonded. and some
cliildren oxperienciiig Ihe thrill ol their Iirst-ever hockey games. The pinnacle of Ouf
achievemenis was wllnessed In our U14s and U12s teams miikin8 il 10 the National Finals.
showcasing Ihe remarkable progress and dedicaiion within our club. Our pai Iiclpaiion 111
tournaments. attended in Ayr, Telford. and beyond. has consisiently yielded outstandlng
re5Lilis. luriher solldifying our presence as Ihe new club amon851 those that h3vp exlsred for
mHny years.
As the season drew io a close. our pride reached new heights as a substaniial contlngenl of
our young members received Invitations to the pTestl8iOU5 EIHA Annual Confcrence event.
The culmination of this honoui saw a select group 5ubsequenily being chosen io represent
Team Eii8land In esieemed International tournamenls.
Bringing Ihe curiain down on ihe yeai. we orchesrrated a grand Iinale In ihe form of J
compiehen5ive club Presentation Event. This served as a momenrous occasion to

indivldually 3cknowled8e and reward every member of our thrivlng communlty for thelr
out5tandln8 contributions and achievements within the club.

As of the year end. 3111 of July 2023 the charity held £14,809.IX) at The Metro bank and had
£1,442.rJo cash In hand. The biBgest cosl to ihe Charity was ihe hire ol ice for Its training
activlfjes and game hxlures whlch iotalled £95.870 lor the year. The charity received 3 total
01 £95.388.LX) from membefship subscriptions in the year. Further funds which coniributed
io rho chorlty's surplus were received from Spons0￿hlp and fundralsin8, wlth a significant
amount raised in July at our Year End Presentarlon. alon8 With proceeds from or8anised
evenis hostod ai Ihe club such as Tournamenls and Hockey Camps and game day fundralsing
effort5.

LEEDS JUNIOR KNIGFrrs ICE HOCKEY CLUB considers that an audit 15 not reqvired for this year

examination is needed.

My examination was carried out in accordance wth the General Dlrectlons given by the Charity
Commisslon. An examination includes a review of the accounting words kept by LEEDS JUNIOR
KNIGHTS ICE HOCKEY CLUB and a compartson of the accounts presented wlth those records. It
also includes consideration of any unusual items or disd05ures In the account5 and seeking
explanations from LEEDS JUNIOR KNIGHTS ICE HOCKEY CLUB conceming ony Such matters.
The procedures undertaken do not provide all the evidence that would be required In an audlL
4nd consequently I do notexpress an audrt oplnion on the view glven by the accounts.
