## **Performance and achievements**

During 2024, we saw an increase in the call on our services of 7-10%, this in addition to the 20% increase we experienced in 2023. We provided food and household items on 2309 occasions (last year’s fig 2032), we made home deliveries to households who are the most vulnerable on 269 occasions. The total number of provision of food to individuals was 5197 (last year’s fig 4708)

During the year we also made a number of ‘unscheduled’ emergency deliveries to struggling families and individuals.

We also were able to continue to provide some financial support for those facing significant increases in domestic fuel costs. This we were able to provide with a link up with a partner charity The Adur East Lions.

We belong and are participating members of the Adur and Worthing Food Network. We are members of Community Works, this organisation works on behalf of Adur and Worthing Council to support charities, not-for-profit and community groups across Worthing and Adur.

During the year we conducted a survey with our clients. Our aim was to further engage those we seek to help and hopefully achieve a better understanding of their needs. Over 50% of our clients responded, with over 35% providing written additional point and comments. The results were very positive and action points based on the comments implemented. We plan a similar exercise in 2025

In the run up to Christmas we were particularly pleased to able to provide clients with over 200 Christmas Dinners, alongside our regular food support. We also now provide a neighbouring struggling foodbank with support including the provision of Christmas Dinners

## **Volunteers**
