Activities
We hold formal monthly meetings October to March, some include presentations by experienced beekeepers. April to September we meet social twice a month. At our teaching apiary members can get hands on experience and non-beekeepers can observe inspections. Volunteer members provide a swarm collection service and we rent out honey extraction equipment to local beekeepers.
Objects: The Objects Of The CIO Are:to Promote And Further The Craft Of Beekeeping Within The Borough Of Wokingham And The Surrounding Districtsto Advance The Education Of The Public In The Importance Of Bees In The Environment.
