Objectives and Activities
Aims and Objectives
The Charitiy's aims and objectives are as follows :

To relieve financial hardship among poor people by means of, but not exclusively, making grants for providing or paying for items, equipment, services and facilities, including the provision of food, water and other basic necessities;

To advance education for the benefit of the poor by means of, but not exclusively, assistance in the provision of educational resources, equipment, activities and facilities, such as schools and training centres;

To relieve sickness and to preserve good health among persons in need, by means of, but not exclusively, assistance in the provision of treatment at hospitals;

To advance the religion of islam by means of, but not exclusively, assistance in the provision of facilities for islamic education, in accordance with the teachings of the quran and the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) as interpreted and accepted by the ahle-sunnah wal-jamaa-ah school of thought.

The trustees confirm that they have complied with the requirements of Section 17 of the Charities Act 2011 to have due regard to the Charity Commission’s guidance on public benefit.

The organization carried out activities in alignment with its charitable objectives, focusing on alleviating financial hardship, promoting education, improving health.

Promoting Education
·Supplied educational resources and equipment (e.g., books, stationery, digital devices) to schools ·Supported the development and maintenance of a schools serving disadvantaged communities.
Relieving Illness and Preserving Health
·Sponsored medical treatments for individuals in need, including surgeries, consultations, and medications.
·Assisted in equipping healthcare facilities with essential medical supplies, benefiting patients.
·Organized health camps providing free check-ups, vaccinations, and health education to individuals in underprivileged areas.
Promoting education
·Funded the school fees for 422 children

Financial Position
The charity had a significant increase in donations received due to a full year of operation and also due to being more active in the community. The total doantions received in the year were £199,708 (2024: £138,347).
It is the charity's objective to utilise 100% of the donations for charitable causes, wherever possible.
Reserves Policy
The reserves at the end of the period were £97,610 (2024: £60,212). As there are no fixed expenses of the charity, there are no minimum requirements for level of reserves to be maintained. This is to be reviewed on an ongoing basis according to the expansion of the charity.
The reserves were unrestricted and to be used in relevant projects as and when the opportunity and need arises.
Structure, Governance and Management
Governing Document
The charity is registered as a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) under the Charities Act 2011. It is governed by its Constitution, last amended 5th August 2022.
The charity enjoys charitable status for taxation purposes.
Anyone over the age of 16 can become a member of the charity subject to approval by the trustees.
No trustee has any beneficial interest in the charity.
Trustee Selection Methods
There must be at least three (3) charity trustees. If the number falls below this minimum, the remaining trustee or trustees
may act only to call a meeting of the charity trustees, or appoint a new charity trustee pursuant to Clause 10 of the Constitution.
There is no maximum number of charity trustees that may be appointed to the CIO.
Apart from the first Trustees, every trustee must be appointed only after a nomination from any one trustee is presented to
the trustees, and the majority of the trustees pass a resolution to appoint the said trustee for a term determined at a properly convened meeting of the Trustees.

I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of Aman Education & Medical Welfare Trust (the Trust) for the year ended 31 March 2025.
Responsibilities and Basis of Report
As the charity trustees of the Trust you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”).
I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act.
Independent Examiner's Statement
I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have come to my attention in connection with the examination giving me cause to believe that in any material respect:

accounting records were not kept in respect of the Trust as required by section 130 of the Act; or
-
the accounts do not accord with those records; or
-
the accounts do not comply with the applicable requirements concerning the form and contents of accounts set out in the Charities (Accounts and Reports) Regulations 2008 other than any requirement that the accounts give a 'true and fair view' which is not a matter considered as part of an independent examination.
I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection with the examination to which attention should be drawn in this report in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.

1. General Information
Aman Education & Medical Welfare Trust is a charitable incorporated organisation registered with the Charity Commission, registered charity number 1199972. The principal address is 135, Arncliffe Terrace, Bradford, West Yorkshire, BD7 3AG.
2. Accounting Policies
2.1. Basis of Preparation of Financial Statements
The financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the Charities SORP (FRS 102) "Accounting and Reporting by Charities: Statement of Recommended Practice applicable to charities preparing their accounts in accordance with the Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland (FRS 102) (effective 1 January 2019)", Financial Reporting Standard 102 "The Financial Reporting Standard applicable in the UK and Republic of Ireland" and the Charities Act 2011.
The charity is a Public Benefit Entity as defined by FRS 102.
2.2. Incoming Resources
All incoming resources are included in the statement of financial activities when the Charity is entitled to the income and the amount can be quantified with reasonable accuracy. The following specific policies are applied to particular categories of income:
