Pioneer Family Partnership’s mission is
to reconnect people with their

and allow personal thriving by providing
a safe, connected and inclusive
environment. People can meet and
participate in social and physical
activities, support groups, volunteering
and learning, with the aim of enhancing
community spirit and overall quality of
life.
Our community hub is a place for social
cohesion where people from different
ethnic, religious and social backgrounds
benefit from mental health workshops,
fitness classes, education, employability
skills and much more.|

disadvantaged area and many people
cannot afford these physical activities. By
providing these activities children and
adults have enjoyed the sessions, built

|In December 2023, the charity partnered|
|with the local councillor to support the Give|
|& gift Christmas appeal. Through fund|
|raising and donations, we bought|
|Christmas gifts for the local community and|
|invited adults/children to collect a|
|Christmas gift. The Christmas fair was held|
|on 9thDecember at Foxborough Primary|
|school with many community members|
|attending with their families to enjoy|
|Christmas activities, Santa grotto and|
|collect a Christmas gift. The event was a|
|huge success and brought joy to many|
|children and adults who cannot afford gifts|
|at Christmas.|

financial position at the end

period, it is noted that the charity's total
income amounted to less than £25,000.
The current cash funds at year end were
£3911 and we owe Pioneer Educational
Trust £524.
Despite this, it is imperative to
acknowledge the prudent financial
management and resource allocation
exercised by the organisation in navigating
through this period. The team has
demonstrated resilience and adaptability in
delivering on its charitable objectives
amidst challenging financial circumstances.
Moving forward, a strategic focus on
diversifying income streams and optimising
operational efficiencies will be pursued to
enhance financial sustainability and further
support the mission of the charity."|

9. Charity trustees
(1) Functions and duties of charity trustees
The charity trustees shall manage the affairs
of the CIO and may for that purpose
exercise all the powers of the CIO. It is the
duty of each charity trustee:
a. to exercise their powers and to perform
their functions in their capacity as a trustee
of the CIO in the way they decide in good
faith would be most likely to further the
purposes of the CIO; and
b. to exercise, in the performance of those
functions, such care and skill as is
reasonable in the circumstances having
regard in particular to:
(i) any special knowledge or experience that
they have or holds themselves as having;
and,
(ii) if they act as a charity trustee of the CIO
in the course of a business or profession, to
any special knowledge or experience that it
is reasonable to expect of a person acting
in the course of that kind of business or
profession.
(2) Eligibility for trusteeship
a. Every charity trustee must be natural
person.
b. No individual may be appointed as a
charity trustee of the CIO:
if they are under the age of 16 years; or
if they would automatically cease to hold
office under the provisions of clause
[12(1)(e)].
(3) Number of charity trustees
a. There must be at least 3 charity trustees.
If the number falls below this minimum, the
remaining trustee or trustees may act only
to call a meeting of the charity trustees, or
appoint a new charity trustee.. The
maximum number of charitytrustees is 12.|
The charity trustees may not appoint any charity trustee if as a result the number of charity trustees would exceed the maximum. (4) First charity trustees The first charity trustees are as follows, and are appointed for the following terms Gurminder Kaur Khutan [for 5 years] Eddie Neighbour [for 5 years] Antonia Spinks [for 5 years] 10. Appointment of charity trustees (1) Apart from the first charity trustees, every trustee must be appointed for a term of 3 years by a resolution passed at a properly convened meeting of the charity trustees. (2) In selecting individuals for appointment as charity trustees, the charity trustees must have regard to the skills, knowledge and experience needed for the effective administration of the CIO.
