Chairperson's statement
Kapes Foundation was established to support children in need by helping to remove barriers to education. During this reporting period, the charity did not undertake activities and had no income or expenditure. The trustees remain committed to developing the charity in a responsible way and to beginning appropriate fundraising and charitable work in future periods.
The trustees thank those who have expressed interest in supporting the work of the Foundation and look forward to progressing the charity's objectives when the operational and fundraising arrangements are ready.

2. Objectives and activities
Charitable objects
The object of the CIO is the relief of those in poverty via the provision of eco-friendly school uniforms to children in need in developing countries.
Purpose and planned activities
Kapes Foundation exists to help break down barriers to education for children in need in Africa, including through the provision of school uniforms and other support where this furthers the charity's purposes.
In this reporting period, the charity did not undertake any charitable activities, fundraising activities, or grantmaking activities. The trustees continued to hold the charity ready for future work and considered how best to begin operations in a way that is consistent with the charity's purposes.

Public benefit
The trustees have had regard to the Charity Commission's guidance on public benefit when considering the charity's objectives and future plans. As no activities were undertaken during the year, there are no public benefit outcomes to report for this period.
3. Achievements and performance
The charity did not undertake activities during the reporting period. There are therefore no operational achievements or programme outcomes to report for the year ended 31 August 2025.
4. Financial review
