Chairperson: Matthew Benjamin 

The Kapes Foundation was established with the mission to break down barriers to education for children in Africa. While the charity has not yet undertaken any activities in this reporting period, our goal remains to make education more accessible and provide the necessary support to underprivileged children across the continent. We look forward to beginning our operations in the coming year, and our first steps will be focused on fundraising and identifying key educational projects to support. 

We thank all those who have expressed interest in our work, and we remain committed to our mission as we start to develop projects in the next financial year. 



## **Section (2): Summary of the Organisation’s Purpose and Activities** 

Kapes Foundation aims to break down barriers to education for children in Africa by providing resources, funding, and support to educational institutions and communities in need. Our purpose, as outlined in our governing documents, is to empower children through education and enable them to create better futures for themselves and their communities. In this reporting period, the charity did not undertake any activities as we focused on the foundation's setup and planning for future work.

As this is the charity’s initial reporting period and no activities were undertaken, there are no achievements to report for this year. Moving forward, we aim to develop partnerships with local organizations and schools to start making an impact on children's education in Africa. 

## **Section (4): Financial Review** 

The charity did not have any financial transactions during the reporting period. There are no reserves, financial uncertainties, or material financial investments to report at this time. The charity’s financial position will be reviewed regularly as we move forward with operational activities in the coming years. 

## **Plans for Future Periods** 

Kapes Foundation plans to begin fundraising activities in the next financial year to support educational projects in Africa. Our main objective is to start by providing learning materials, uniforms, and other essential resources to children in need. We will also explore partnerships with schools and local communities to ensure our resources are effectively distributed.

The Kapes Foundation is governed by a board of three trustees:
