This support enabled the<br>cathedrals to recruit trainees and enabled the<br>trainees to pursue their development objectives<br>to benefit their career progression.<br>The charity secured grant income of £700,649<br>from the Hamish Ogston Foundation to support<br>craft training development in the reporting year.<br>Funds were held in trust pending completion of<br>the transition to charity operation, to be<br>transferred to the charity on 1.8.23<br>Society as a whole benefits from the CWF<br>activity through the provision highly skilled<br>craftspeople to conserve, maintain and repair<br>cathedrals for the benefit and enjoyment of all.|
