Trustees Report
Objects of the charity
The Object of the CIO is, for the public benefit, the advancement of the Christian faith in the United Kingdom and overseas, particularly but not exclusively, by encouraging the education, mentoring, coaching, training and teaching of the Christian faith.
Summary of the charity's main activities and achievements
To further the above objects and vision, the charity\s main activities and achievements were as follows:
-
Writing material for teaching & training purposes. Continued one on one discipleship with individuals in the UK to support churches and ministries.
-
Producing content online and for zoom calls with individuals, ministries, and churches in the UK & USA.
The Arising has continued to work alongside Habitation Church in the United States. This aligns fully with The Arising’s vision and has enabled strong connection, support and networking with key ministries and individuals as well as bringing in financial stability. The Arising continues to develop key strategic links in the USA which will result in a stronger platform for growth on a global scale.
In planning the activities, the trustees have applied the guidance on public benefit issued by the Charity Commission.
Financial Review
Income for the year amounted to £34,552 (2025: £30,744) and expenditure £34,900 (2025: £32,975). Unrestricted funds carried forward were £292.
Reserves Policy
The trustees are aware, and are monitoring the fact that, at the present stage in the life and work of the charity there are only sufficient funds received to cover existing costs, thus leaving the charity without a reserve. Long term they believe that God will provide in greater levels so that a reserves fund can be established.
