**Objects:** (1) For the public benefit, to promote the arts, culture, and heritage of the Mirpur region and surroundings, including but not limited to Kotli, Bhimber, Rajouri, Poonch, the Pothohar Plateau, Jammu & Kashmir, and northern Pakistan.(2) To advance the education of the public in all aspects of the arts, culture, and heritage of the aforementioned region(s), including language, literature, and genealogy, by:(A) Conducting research into the arts, culture, and heritage of the specified region(s) and ensuring the dissemination of useful results to the public.(B) Creating and maintaining a digital heritage archive encompassing the diverse cultural heritage of the specified region(s).

**Activities:** Apna Heritage promotes and advances the education of the public in all aspects of the arts, culture and heritage (such as language, literature, and genealogy) of the Mirpur region and surroundings including the Pothohar Plateau, Jammu & Kashmir, and northern Pakistan. The CIO does this in particular by conducting research, disseminating it to the public, and by creating a digital heritage archive.
