1. Objectives and Activities

a. Charity’s Aims

The My Body Is My Body Foundation (MBIMB) exists to educate, empower and protect children by providing free child safety education through music, animation, and interactive resources.

We aim to:

• Prevent abuse through early education and awareness.

• Empower children to understand body autonomy, safety, and how to seek help.

• Support parents, teachers, social workers and community leaders with accessible tools and training.

b. How Our Activities Deliver Public Benefit

The trustees confirm that they have complied with their duty under section 17 of the Charities Act 2011 to have due regard to public benefit guidance published by the Charity Commission.

MBIMB provides:

• Free access to safeguarding resources in over 30 languages .

• Eight free online safeguarding courses.

• Direct education through songs, videos, games, workbooks , and in-person or online presentations .

• Engagement with communities and professionals in 60 countries .

• Programmes aligned with PSHE curriculum, Rotary empowerment projects, and global safeguarding initiatives.

2. Achievements and Performance

Key Highlights in This Reporting Period:

• MBIMB reached over 2.7 million children globally with its body safety message.

• Expanded programme translations to include 30 languages , including Swahili, Urdu, Afrikaans, and ISL.

• Delivered training and ambassador engagement in South Africa, India, Nepal, Hungary , Nigeria, Kenya, Malawi, Tanzania, Carribbean, Nepal, Egypt, Guinea, DRC, Singapore, Uganda and the UK.

• Grew our free e-learning platform to include eight online safeguarding courses for adults and children.

• Formed new partnerships with Rotary International , including an MOU with Rotary ICC’s.

• Expanded our volunteer network in multiple countries.

• Maintained strong engagement across social media, with over 8,000 YouTube subscribers and continued presence on LinkedIn with over 8000 subscribers, Facebook, and Instagram.

3. Financial Review

a. Income

Our income was sourced primarily through:

• Individual donations on our website and fundraising campaigns.

• Rotary International support and partnerships.

• Support-in-kind from professionals contributing time, skills, translations, and recordings.

Total Income for the year: £4,366.00

b. Expenditure

Expenditure focused on:

• Programme development

• Website maintenance and hosting for our free educational platform.

• Production of new training materials, animations, and music.

• Administrative costs (minimal due to volunteer-based operations).

Total Expenditure for the year: £1,819.00 Reserves carried forward: £2547.00

The trustees aim to maintain modest reserves to ensure the continuity of our free services.

4. Structure, Governance and Management

a. Governing Document

The charity is governed by a constitution adopted on 9th June 2022 and is registered as a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO).

b. Trustee Selection and Training

Trustees are appointed by the existing board and undergo an induction covering:

• Charity Commission requirements.

• Safeguarding and child protection.

• Financial and risk management. Ongoing training is encouraged, including participation in safeguarding conferences and regulatory updates.

• Continue developing the MBIMB Youth Ambassador programme for schools.

• Build strategic partnerships with schools and councils in the UK to embed MBIMB into PSHE and safeguarding training.

• Seek further funding opportunities to support programme scaling and digital innovation.
