In accordance ￿th the oblects of the charfty for the pU￿]C benefft, namely the rellef of th08e In need, by
reason of youth, age, 111-he8lth. thsability, finanual hardship, or other disadvantage. Hub of Hope Foundallon
has continued to focus most of its acliwlies durin9 this period upon the Maesyrhandir housing eslats in
Ne￿ South. Nawtown South was kienlfted In ¢he 2021 census as ha￿n9 the hlghest d8prfvatv)n rate in
A residential event called The Retreaf was run from the 121h to the 14th Aprfl 2024, for th¢X6 have
experienced $9nificanl trauma. Ios5. challengiNJ 81bjati0r￿, induthng liwng v￿lh mental health illness. chiwren
th ALN etc. It was held at a local residential ca)tre th comfortable accommodauon, attended by 15 mother8
from m￿sy￿and[r cwmunity. wth 25 Children. The children had their own separate programme of fun
acbvities sw)8rvised by around 20 volunleèts. Sessions ran on various themes to encourage the mothers in
parenting sirategies. dealing wth grief, and promoling personal seW*steem from professlonals. Aso Grafts
and pamperfng actiwties were Fwvided and a gift bag was prowded al the A large propoition of those
attending have continued to maintain fjnsHgem￿t with communlty acllvlties as a resulL Attendees reported
being hugely Impacted. Some not had a holiday for 20 year5.
In May 2024 an event called Carg for A Square. Incory)orating the Famlly Funtastsc event that W85 $0
SUCC8ssfvI In prethus years, vrns held in the grounds of Maesyrhandir CP school. thce again, the numbe
attending increased, with 440 guests and I￿11 over SJO attending induding volunteers. Hub ol Hope parknered
wlth RRT and Food Share to provlde free food on the day. and free food Force15 for thsldbution. The same
mix of fun and educational a￿￿tIes, frcth Axchery to fa* painting. dance to an inflatable, age appropriate
game5. arts and GralL police. ffire and ambulance, and live musie from the slage. were this year
SLpp18mfjnted by Animal Enttjunters. CAP (Chrfs￿anS Against Povety) V•ve also on har￿ to offer courses on
l￿dgeting arKI debt relièf adwce.
In July 2024. the "CTr)I for School. initiative dlstrlbuled 129 ￿nter coats and 36 fijlty equiptxd school
backpacks to Ghildren from local Newtown ￿Mary schools identffied by Headteachers as being in need.
Addtbonal coats continua to bè pffj￿ded to famllles In need as they were identrfied as surj) dijring Iho rest of
the year.
Lhjring the school Summer holidays in 2024. 'Happy Holidays. was held again on thè premises of H¢Jpe
Ch￿￿h. behveen 45 and 50 children attending. with ALN. The event was synchronlsed v*th events
prowded by local schools and a large tsom of appropriately checked volunteers was again led by 8 head
teacher of a local school wth parbcular expertise with chlldren vAih ALN. The thildren were given a
prOgraMw￿ of fijn and educational aCti￿eS, plus a hol tsvo course lunch e8ch day. Pargnls were Invltsd to
attend on the final afterrwn IQ see all ofthe children recfjiwrKJ awards.

TbK) events were held in December 2024. Turkoy Fest and Communlty Chrfsknas. Turkey Fest Is
provision of hampers containing the r8•V Ingredients for a Chri$trn8s thnner, plus treats and often gifts for
families Identified by social seNee5 and other community semces and leaders as in need. This year,
referrdls were made from nine such organi5aiions, and 94 hampers were prowded to families. 354 indi￿dUalS
In the communlty benefitbng from these. Conknts for 49 hampers were purd)ase(I directly using Hub fvnds,
and put together and delivered by volunteers, whi18 45 were donated and delivered by voluntèèrs. C(Mmmurllty
Chrislmas is the proM4on of a prePa￿d hot meal on Christmas Day, delivered by voluntsers, and also the
prowsion of a Chrisknas Oinner at a sit40￿n event on the wemises of Hope Church on Christrna5 day
staffed by volunteers. on￿ again rerApients are Idenlffied in the s￿e way and indude Ihose who may be
Othe￿Se alone or unable to rKJok for themselves 81 Christmas. 150 meals were promded in all at Chrtsknas
