**Objects:** THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE THE PROMOTION OF THE EFFICIENCY OF THE ARMED FORCES OF THE CROWN BY (A) THE ESTABLISHMENT AND MAINTENANCE OF A MEMORIAL AT THE NATIONAL MEMORIAL ARBORETUM TO COMMEMORATE THE MEMBERS OF THE LONG RANGE DESERT GROUP WHO LOST THEIR LIVES OR SUFFERED INJURY, OR PUT THEMSELVES AT RISK OF LOSS OF LIFE OR INJURY, IN SERVICE OF THE PUBLIC, AND (B) THE EDUCATION OF THE PUBLIC IN THE HISTORY OF THE LONG RANGE DESERT GROUP.

**Activities:** The activities are the promotion of the efficiency of the armed forces of the crown by (a) theestablishment and maintenance of a memorial at the National Memorial Arboretum to commemorate themembers of the Long Range Desert Group who lost their lives or suffered injury, in service of the public, and (b) the education of the public in the history of the Long Range Desert Group.
