CONSTITUTION
The Yeomanry Trust was registered on 27th July. 2022 (HKler the constitution of
a Charitable Incorporated Organisation.
CHARITABLE OWECTS
The charitsble objeds of The Yeomanry Trust are:
1. To promote the eff￿lencY of a Yeomanry Regiment or Yeomanry
Regiments in such charrtable ways as the truslees may decide, in
particular but not exclusivety by..
a. fostering esprit de corps among serving and fOrn￿r members
of any one or more Yeomanry Regirnents.
b. Preserving the traditions of any one or more Yeomanry
Regiments.
2. ProvKding and commissioning and maintsining a memorial or
memorials to those members who have in the Servi￿ of their
country, induding the Yeomanry Regiment in whth they served.
3. Definrtions
'Yeomanry Regimenf means any regiment which at any time sin
1901 has been a member of the Yeomanry force, any fonner or present
Yeomanry regiment including the First Aid Nursing Yeomanry or unit of
the Territorial Army or Arrny Reserve and any sub-unrt which represents
or replaces a fomer Yeomanry Regiment. and 'Yeomanry Regiments.
means more than one Yeomanry Regiment.
APPOINTMENT OF TRUSTEES
There must be not less than three and not more than nine appointed trustees.
Apart from the first trustees. every trustee must be appointed for a term of four
years by a resolution passed at a properly convened meeting of the trustees.
In selecting individuals for appointment as trustees, the trustees must have
regard to the skills. knowledge and experience needed for the effective
administralion of the charity.
DECISION IIIAKING BY TRUSTEES
A decision may be taken either al a meeling of the trustees or by resolution in
writing (including in electronic fomi) agreed by a majority of all the trustees.
A resolution shall be effective provided that a copy of the proposed resolution
must have simultaneously been sent to all of the trustees. and that a majorty
of all the trustees has sMJnified their agreement in wrtrting.

ACCOUNTING POUCIES
The Yeomanry Trus* accounts for donations when it is COnf￿ent they will be re￿ived.
FINANCIAL REVIEW
The Yeomanry Twst has received a modest amount of income from donations during
the period.
POLICY ON RESERVES
The policy of the Yeomanry Trust on reserves is to build up a fund from
which to commission a memorial to those members of the Yeomanry who
have died in the service of their country to be erected at the Nats"onal Memorial
Arboretum. Alrewas and to satisfy its other charitable objects.
