Our objectNes are lo obtain reasonable assurance about whether the financial statements 88 a whole

that includes our opinion. Reasonable assurance is a high level of assurance, bul is not a guarantee
that an audit conducted in accordance wrth ISAS IUKI will a￿ayS delect a material misststement

or in the aggregate, they could reasonably be expected to influence the eeonomic decisions of users

We identffied areas of laws and reguL9tions that could reasonabty be expected lo have a material
effect on the financi81 statements from our general Commercial and sector experience and through
discussion with the Iruslees and other m¥nagement and inspedion of the charity'8
rresponden¢e. We communicated identified laws and regulations throughout our team, and

The Gharity is subject to laws and regulations that govem the preparaion of the financkql

subject lo other laws and regulations Whe￿ the consequences of non-compliance could have a
material impact on the amouTrls or disclosures within the financial statements, including
employment. anli-bribery, anti-money laundering and certain aspects of eharities *islalion.
Owing to the inherent limitslions of an audit, there is an unavoidable risk that we may not have
detected some material misslalemenls in the financial stslements, even though we have properly
planned and perfoimed our audit in accordance with auditing standaids. In any aud1(, there
remains a higher risk of non4election of irregularities, as these may involve collusion. forgery.
intentional omissions, misrepresentstions, or the override of intemal controls. We are not
responsible for preventing non-compliance and cannot be expected to detect non-compliance with
all Lqws and rogulations.
As part of an audit in accordance with ISAS (UK), we exercise professional judgement and maintaln

Identfy and assess the risks of material misststemenl of the financial statements, whether due to
fraud or error, design and perfom) audft procedures responswe lo those risks. and obtsin audit
evidence that is suffieient and appropriate to provide a basis for our opinion. The risk of not
detecting a material misstatement resulting from fraud is hwJher than for one resuming from error,
as fraud may involve collusion, forgery. intents'on81 omissions, misrepre88ntations, or the overnide
of internal control.
Obtain an undèrstanding of intemal control rel8vanl lo the au¢Jit in order lo design audil procedures
that are appropriate in the circumstances, but not for the purpose of expressing an opinion on the
effectiveness of the internal control.
Evaluate the appropriateness of accounting polieies used and the reasonlbleness of accounting

If we condude that a material uncertainty exists, we are required to draw attention in our audilorfs

our auditor's tsport. However, fvture events or conditions may cause the charity to cease lo

Judgements & key sources of estlmatlon uncertainty
The preparation of the financkgl statements requires management to make judgements, estimates and

Accounting eslimales and assumptions are made conceming the future and, by their nature, will rarely
equal the related actual outcome.

spread of staff costs.
