## Wolvey Playing Field Trust 

After the previous years traumatic events, where the Pavilion suffered multiple frozen and subsequently burst pipes, we have continued to refurbish not only all of the rooms that were damaged, but unaffected areas as well. 

Pavilion maintenance (£303.45) and Pavilion Refurbishment (£1653.14) might not appear to be significant amounts, but the amount of work that a team of dedicated volunteers achieved was significant and extremely good value for money, the Trust provided the materials and the results were to a very good standard. 

The Pavilion is now decorated better than it has ever been, that is not just our opinion, but everyone that comes into the building. 

Our annual Bonfire and Firework display was again a huge success and is becoming so well attended that our Catering teams are struggling to cope with the numbers, we think it is about time to bring in Catering vans. 

The Playing Field is surrounded by a large number of trees of varying species and sizes, to build this years Bonfire our volunteers undertook a massive tree tidy up campaign, the results were even better than we expected, we now have wonderful views, looking under the canopy, where we look down onto fishing lakes and what we call the Anker valley. 

We again received our annual grant from the Parish Council, which was for £3000. 

Total revenue for the year was £11,184.75, with expenditure of £8499.05, giving us a balance of £16,851.64.
