We registered in July 2022 and launched our Grant Programme in January 2023.
-
The objecve of Fletchers Foundaon is the relief of sickness, of condions of need, hardship and distress arising as the result of medical accidents and personal injury by the provision of grants.
-
We also had our first birthday party / fundraising in March 2024, to raise awareness of the charity and to raise money for the grant programme.
Structure
-
We are managed by our Director of the Foundaon; Reece Hobson-Adams, who manages the day-today operaons.
-
The Director reviews all grant applicaons and makes a recommendaon to the trustees, who have final decision (majority rules) on the applicaon.
-
meet our director to talk about the charity and its aims. Then the person would have a call with the Trustees who would look at is the person bringing something that the current trustees are missing. There would then be a vote at the board of trustees meeng.
Achievement
-
We awarded our biggest grant yet, of £10,000.
-
Two of our grant recipients have become ambassadors of the trustees, with one of them also joining the Paralympics next generaon programme.
-
Another grant applicant also went over to Thailand and won a bronze medal at the World Ability Games.
-
Fletchers Foundaon expanded its income revenue stream and became the charity of the year for external stakeholders companies.
