Governance and management

The charity is operated under the rules of its CIO Association adopted 21 July 2022. Trustees are voted in at a committee meeting and agree to serve and adopt all policies.

Objectives and activities

The charity objects are to promote for the benefit of the inhabitants of Timperley and the surrounding area the provision of facilities for recreation or other leisure time occupation of individuals who have need of such facilities by reason of their youth, age, infirmity or disablement, financial hardship or social and economic circumstances or for the public at large in the interests of social welfare and with the object of improving the condition of life of the said inhabitants.

Public benefit statement

The Trustees confirm that they have complied with the duty in section 4 of the Charities Act 2006 to have due regard to the Charity Commission's general guidance on public benefit, 'Charities and Public Benefit'.

Summary of the main activities undertaken for the public benefit

We are a not-for-profit entity that manages the use of Beechfields, a public open space in Timperley.

Achievements and Performance

Discussions continued through 2025 to finalise the long-term lease over Beechfields from Trafford Council, as at May 2026 the lease hadn’t yet been finalised thus the charity had not yet commenced operations.
