Royal Norfolk Show:NBKA was
able to promote the importance of
honey bees to general public and
encourage purchase of bee-friendly
plants. Beginners Course for 2023
fully subscribed, as is that for 2024.
We were delighted to be awarded
the Trade Stand Award for the most
Effective Conservation or
Environmental Exhibit
NBKA Centenary Celebrations: We
were able to finance a day of
excellent speakers to encourage
local beekeepers and celebrate the
Associations activities.
Beekeeping courses have been
held with the practical elements
taking place at the new Association
Apiary. This is a very important
service we are able to offer those
who want to take up beekeeping as
well as those wanting to improve
their own skills and knowledge.
Demonstrations and talks have
taken place throughout 2023 to
encourage beekeeping.
Schools and children’s club talks
are given by beekeepers to promote
awareness of the importance of
bees in our world.
Storage at the training apiary
enables bulk-buying of essential
beekeeping items. This helps and
encourages NBKA members to
continue beekeeping.

Royal Norfolk Show:NBKA was
able to promote the importance of
honey bees to general public and
encourage purchase of bee-friendly
plants. Beginners Course for 2023
fully subscribed, as is that for 2024.
We were delighted to be awarded
the Trade Stand Award for the most
Effective Conservation or
Environmental Exhibit
NBKA Centenary Celebrations: We
were able to finance a day of
excellent speakers to encourage
local beekeepers and celebrate the
Associations activities.
Beekeeping courses have been
held with the practical elements
taking place at the new Association
Apiary. This is a very important
service we are able to offer those
who want to take up beekeeping as
well as those wanting to improve
their own skills and knowledge.
Demonstrations and talks have
taken place throughout 2023 to
encourage beekeeping.
Schools and children’s club talks
are given by beekeepers to promote
awareness of the importance of
bees in our world.
Storage at the training apiary
enables bulk-buying of essential
beekeeping items. This helps and
encourages NBKA members to
continue beekeeping.

Responsibilities and As the charity's trustees, you are responsible for the preparation of the basis of report accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”).
