**Summary of the objects of the charity set out in its governing document** 

The Rainbow Legacy CIO provides basic education to the community, English classes, support for mothers and babies, clothing and hygiene products. 

Children are also supported with education costs.

Girls are given classes on self care and hygiene and are provided with reusable sanity towels and toiletries. 

Mothers are provided with clothes and reusable nappies for their babies. 

The charity has purchased land and built a community centre to provide a safe space to learn, confide, play and develop the local community. A borehole has also been built on the land to provide clean water for the community.

Food donations have been made to families in the community, as well as provision of meals for children in the local school. 

Education has been funded for a number of children.

All current funds donated to the charity are held on an unrestricted reserve to be used for the general charitable purposes. 

Where donations are made with a restriction imposed by the donor for these to be used for a specific purpose, these will be held in the restricted funds to be used for that purpose. 

As at 31 December 2024 there was no deficit in the unrestricted fund.
