Objectives and Activities
Our Mission
The mission of Bhojan Daan is to combat hunger and promote well-being by providing free, nutritious meals to individuals and families in need. We strive to ensure that no one in our community goes to bed hungry.
Our Activities
During the year, Bhojan Daan has undertaken the following key activities:

Community Outreach: We have built our partnership with Rassoi on Wheels Foundation to identify and support individuals and families facing food insecurity.

Raising Awareness: We have been promoting the charity and looking for ways to grow the donation base and our partnership with Rassoi on Wheels Foundation. This will be developed further in Q2 2025.

Volunteer Engagement: Our work is supported by a dedicated team of volunteers who contribute their time and skills to our cause. Whilst volunteer numbers have dropped, momentum has continued.

Fundraising and Donations: Despite several fundraising campaigns, it has been a difficult year in terms on income for the charity raising only a total of £51.00 to support our activities.

Financial Review
The financial statements for the year ended 31st March 2025 are attached to this report. Key financial highlights include:

Income: Total income for the year was £51.00, derived from donations

Expenditure: Total expenditure for the year was £31.19, primarily on operational / admin costs.

Reserves: At the end of the financial year, the charity held reserves of £550.00, ensuring stability and the ability to continue our programs in the future.
Plans for the Future
Looking ahead, Bhojan Daan aims to:

Increase the number of donations.

Strengthen the partnership and form an alliance with Rassoi on Wheels Foundation.

Increase the number of meals distributed by 20%.

Expand our geographical service area to reach more individuals in need.

Strengthen partnerships with local organisations to enhance our community impact.

Enhance our fundraising efforts to support the growing demand for our services.

Build corporate relationships to encourage more CSR driven donations from companies.
Statement of Trustees' Responsibilities
The trustees are responsible for preparing the Trustees' Annual Report and the financial statements in accordance with applicable law and regulations. The law applicable to charities in England and Wales requires the trustees to prepare financial statements for each financial year which give a true and fair view of the state of affairs of the charity and of the incoming resources and application of resources of the charity for that period.
