The Purpose of Antioch Community Church London (the
Charity)
The Charity exists to advance the Christian faith in accordance
with the Statement of Beliefs appearing in the Schedule hereto
attached in London, and such other parts of the United Kingdom
or the world as the Trustees may from time to time think fit and
to fulfil such other purposes which are exclusively charitable
according to the law of England and Wales and are connected
with the charitable work of the charity.
The work of the Charity
The Charity's work is as local Christian Church. Activities of
the Church for the reporting period includes the following:
l. Weeldy Sunday Church Services
2. Gathering weekly in homes for prayer and Bible study
3. Offering Spiritual guidance and Pastoral care
4. Bible study and Teaching
5. Prayer for our local area, city, nation, and nations of the
world
6. Training volunteers and leaders
7. Offering a sense of community for the lonely
8. Seeking the overall welfare of the city
9. Ministering to the poor on our streets
Charity Funding Sources
The Charity's income is derived primarily from individuals. A
portion of the Charity's income for the reporting period is from a
Grant received from another Charity based in the United States.

Annual Report.
Use of Funds
The Charity used funds primarily on hiring space for gatherings,
purchasing supplies and equipment to facilitate worship
services, and offering benevolence gifts to individuals and other
local charities. Details of the use of funds are available in the
Charities Accounts included with this report.

For the reporting period, the Charity met for church services in a

variety of locations, including but not limited to:

Statement of Beliefs
We believe in ..
l. The one true God who lives eternally in three persons - the
Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
2. The love, grace and sovereignty of God in creating,
sustaining, ruling, redeeming and judging the world.
3. The divine inspiration and supreme authority of the Old and
New Testament Scriptures, which are the written Word of God -
fully trustworthy for faith and conduct.
4. The dignity of all people, made male and female in God's
image to love, be holy and care for creation, yet corrupted by
sin, which incurs divine wrath and judgement.
5. The incarnation of God's eternal Son, the Lord Jesus Christ-
born of the virgin Mary, truly divine and truly human, yet
without sin.
6. The atoning sacrifice of Christ on the cross: dying in our
place, paying the price of sin and defeating evil, so reconciling
us with God.
7. The bodily resurrection of Christ, the f￿st fruits of our
resurrection. his ascension to the Father and his reign and
mediation as the only Saviour of the world.
8. The justification of sinners solely by the grace of God through
faith in Christ.
9. The ministy of God the Holy SpiriL who leads us to
repentance, unites us with Christ through new birth, empowers
our discipleship and enables our witness.
l O. The ChurclL the body of Christ both local and universal, the
priesthood of all believers - given life by the Spirit and endowed
with the Spirit's gifts to worship God and proclaim the gospel,
promoting justice and love.
I l. The church (on earth) comprised of all in whom the Spirit of
Christ dwells, and that the church is the body of Christ upon the
earth and is to grow up into Him in all things. The Lord Jesus
preached and demonstrated the Kingdom of God and His church,

Lord Jesus has given apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and
teachers for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministy.
12. The atoning sacrifice of Christ also paid for healing of our
bodies and God's will is for Christians to minister healing to
anyone who wants to receive.
13. The personal visible return of Jesus Christ and a day of
judgement. We believe that all those who have trusted in Christ
as their Saviour have already passed over from death to life and
will not be condemned but have received eternal life.

## **Independent Examiner's report to the Trustees on the unaudited financial statements of Antioch Community Church London CIO Charity Commission reference 1199660** 

I report to the trustees on my examination of the financial statements of Antioch Community Church London for the year ended 31 December 2023. 

## _Responsibilities and basis of report_ 

As the charity trustees of the CIO you are responsible for the preparation of the financial statements in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (‘the Act’). 

I report in respect of my examination of the CIO’s financial statements carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act. 

## _Independent examiner’s statement_ 

I have completed my examination. I confirm that no material matters have come to my attention in connection with the examination giving me cause to believe that in any material respect: 

1) accounting records were not kept in respect of the CIO as required by section 130 of the Act; or 

2) the financial statements do not accord with those records. I have no concerns and have come across no other matters in connection with the examination to which attention should be drawn in this report in order to enable a proper understanding of the financial statements to be reached.
