## Activities Undertaken during Reporting Period 

HEB UK conducted following activities during the reporting period: 

1. Continuous Professional Development 

Twyford Academies Trust invited HEB UK to conduct CPD for teachers on Hinduism. Prof. Nawal Kant Prinja conducted this online session on 31[st] October 2022. We received a very positive response from the trust. 

“We were very grateful for the session and thought it was fantastic. It was clear, purposeful and well ordered. Following the session we have a few ideas on how we will implement some of the ideas and nuances into our lessons. It was particularly helpful to have information around polytheism and monotheism explained and whether stories are literal or metaphorical.” 

## 2. SACRE Hindu Members Conference 

HEB UK conducted online conference for SACRE members from Hindu community. The conference was attended by 45 individuals. The topic covered were as follows: 

   - Importance of SACRE and role of faith representatives. 

   - Role of Key National Organisations- REC, NASACRE 

   - Basic Tenets of Hinduism- Exemplar Session- Content & Presentation 

   - Q&A with SACRE members 

   - Experience Sharing 

3. Nomination to SACRE Boards 

HEB UK helped 5 Local Education Authorities by finding  members to represent the Hindu faith group. 

## 4. Advice for Locally Agreed Syllabuses 

HEB UK was approached for advice to check accuracy of two Locally Agreed Syllabuses.
