Objectives and Activities
The charity’s purpose is to advance the arts, particularly musical theatre, for the benefit of the public in Exmouth and surrounding areas. This is achieved through the production of musical theatre performances.
Achievements and Performance
During the year, the charity staged the musical Fame, which was well received by the community and contributed significantly to income. Preparations began for the 2025 production of Sunset Boulevard, including advance payments. The charity also continued to provide opportunities for local performers and volunteers to participate in theatrical productions, fostering community spirit and artistic development.

Structure, Governance and Management
Exmouth Musical Theatre Company is governed by a board of trustees who are responsible for the overall management and strategic direction of the charity. Trustees are appointed in accordance with the charity’s constitution and meet regularly to review operations and finances.

| I report to the trustees on my examination of the accounts of the above charity (“the Trust”) for the year ended 31/12/2024. As the charity's trustees, you are responsible for the preparation of the accounts in accordance with the requirements of the Charities Act 2011 (“the Act”). I report in respect of my examination of the Trust’s accounts carried out under section 145 of the 2011 Act and in carrying out my examination, I have followed all the applicable Directions given by the Charity Commission under section 145(5)(b) of the Act. |

statement[ In connection with my examination, no matter has come to my attention ] which gives me reasonable cause to believe that in any material respect the requirements:
- to keep accounting records in accordance with section 130 of the Charities Act 2011; and
○ to prepare accounts which accord with the accounting records and comply with the accounting requirements of the Charities Act 2011 have not been met; or to which, in my opinion, attention should be drawn in order to enable a proper understanding of the accounts to be reached.
