The trust ws the income (net of expenses) generated by trust property for the following purposes The provision of special benefits of any klnd not normally provlded by the local education authority or school trust for Welford, Sulby and Sibbertoft Endowed School. The provision of these benefits to b& agreed by the twslees and the governors of the school. The promotion of the education (induding social and physlcal tralning) of persorvts under the age of 25 years who are resident in the area of the Ancient Parish of Welford and who are in need of financial assistance The provlsion of grants to not for profit organisalions located in Ihe area of the Anaent Parish of Welford who provide services to persons under the 4e of 25 years lo assist in the provision of activities not funded from nomial subscriptions which assist in the education and development of said persons. Achievements and Perforniance During the year ended 30 September 2024 the trust made grants totalling £6,2701o WeSford, Sulby and Sibbertoft Endowed School enabling th6 school to attend theatre productions,, to vislt parliament and provide early years foundation materials. The school PTA were also asslsted with the purchase of a trim trail to be used by all the pupils. 7 grants were awarded to persons under the age of 25 attending university or other post 18 educAtional institutions and 6 grants were award to person undertaking A levels and other post 16 course to assist with the purchase of books and other reference material needed. 1 grant was provided to a 6th form student to enable them to attend geography field trips 3 grants were awarded to organlsatlons located in the ancient parish of Welford to support persons under 25 atterKling residentlal camps and provide training in hockey and tennis.
