## **THE OBJECTIVE** 

the objects of the CIO are:- the advancement of religion in accordance with the tenets and practices of the Coptic orthodox church for the public benefit throughout England mainly but not exclusively, through providing a place of worship, religious education, raising awareness and understanding of Christian beliefs and practices, carrying out religious devotional acts, officiating the sacraments, Sunday school activities for children, spiritual meetings, conferences and events for adults and to provide pastoral care for new comers, immigrants and for the local community.

## **ACTIVITIES AND ACHIEVEMENTS** 

We arrange weekly spiritual/ social meetings in which we run Sunday school activities for children while adults are attending the meeting. We also run liturgy services once a month. The meetings and activities are held in various rented village halls. We also organise spiritual and social activities for our congregation on a random basis. The Charity also provides logistical assistance and support to those that are new to the UK. 

## **KEY HIGHLIGHTS OF THE YEAR** 

This year has been a great blessing for our community and we continued our weekly gatherings together with our monthly mass services in collaboration with our mother Church in Birmingham. We had our 3 major year events for kids including different activities. 

The charity also conducted the first members’ annual feedback which were reviewed by charity's trustees in our quarterly meeting and discussed potential suggestions for Sunday school and other activities conducted by the charity.
