Introduction

Objectives and Activities
WMA was established to advance arts, culture, and music for the public benefit within the UK. Our aims include organizing music events, festivals, workshops, and other cultural activities that promote public appreciation of music and engage diverse communities.
During the year, the trustees focused on delivering activities that aligned with these objectives while remaining proportionate to the charity’s resources and capacity.
Achievements and Performance
During the reporting period, WMA successfully organized and delivered a charity concert in December 2024 . The event was designed to raise funds through music while maintaining a humanitarian and non-political focus, in line with charity law.

The trustees are satisfied that funds were managed responsibly and in accordance with the charity’s financial policies. The charity ended the financial period with a modest balance, which will be used to support future charitable activities.
Structure, Governance and Management
WMA is governed by its trustees, who are responsible for the overall management and strategic direction of the charity.

Future Plans
Building on the experience gained from delivering the charity concert during the reporting period, the trustees plan to continue developing WMA’s charitable activities through collaboration with the Voicingers Festival , a UK-based festival that works in partnership with international artists and organisations.
This collaboration will support the charity’s objective of advancing music education and public appreciation of music by contributing to high-quality cultural events, workshops, and artistic exchange within the UK, while benefiting from international expertise and participation.
The trustees consider that this approach will strengthen the charity’s artistic quality, reach, and sustainability, while ensuring that all activities remain focused on public benefit and are delivered in accordance with UK charity law.
The trustees will continue to seek appropriate funding and partnerships to support this work and will carefully manage resources to ensure activities are proportionate to the charity’s size and capacity.
