In planning our next project from a bid submitted by staff and pupils we
kept in mind the Charity Commission's guidance. Our current project is to
raise funds for a new multi purpose sensory play area. The currenl area
is unfit for purpose and had to be demolished due to H&S concerns.
The new project benefits pupils wellbeing at the school with the planned
introduction of a new sensory play area for the pupils of our specialist
educational needs setting within Canolfan Elfed.
Once the project is delivered it will develop self-confidence and social
skills, along with supporting life skills. The trustees understand the
importance of creating an inclusive and engaging environment thal
enhances the educational experience of our sludents.
Summary of the main
activities undertaken for the
public benefit in relation to
these objects (include within
